Film is a language.
YOU CAN LEARN how to read it.
Film workshops led by a Film School graduate and award-winning director.
for those who want to tell their own stories with intention.
I believe personal, human stories matter more than ever. That's what we explore together.
film education has always been about learning to look more consciously. It's taught me to open up to unfamiliar subjects, to empathise with people different from myself, to find meaning in stories that aren't my own. That's why I love film, and why I want to share THE KNOWLEDGE.
What are the workshops about?
I tailor the programme to each institution's needs, but the scope stays the same. Across several sessions, we cover the full range of filmmaking roles: screenwriter, director, cinematographer, actor, editor, producer. Each session works on its own, or as part of the full programme.
Theory meets practice throughout: concrete examples, group exercises, hands-on work with film equipment. Participants try out different roles and experiment with form.
Audience
My workshops are aimed FOR young people and aspiring filmmakers, primarily aged 16–25. I work in small groups of around a dozen participants, where everyone has room to create.
